What the name means
re·loom — to take the loose threads of who you are and weave them, patiently, into something whole.
That is the whole idea in one word. Not a makeover, not a new you. A re-weaving of what was already there: the parts of yourself you set aside because they did not fit the pattern you were handed. And because threads are never woven alone, reloom also means togetherness — a reconnection first to yourself, and through that to everyone around you.
Why I started it
reloom began as something I built for myself.
I have spent most of my working life helping companies make clear decisions with technology. Somewhere along the way I noticed how rarely that clarity reached the person making the decision: is this true for me? Human Design gave me language for that — for how I take in the world, how I am meant to decide, why some rooms give me energy and others quietly drain it. But every tool I tried handed me a chart full of symbols and left me to do the translating.
So I built the reading I wished existed: one that explains your design the way a good friend would, in plain language, without the jargon in the way. Then I added the people I love — and the readings about us turned out to be the ones I kept coming back to. Then the people I work with. Then the practitioners who asked if they could use it with their clients.
That is how a personal project became reloom. The ambition grew; the reason did not change. I wanted something that helps people remember who they are.
What Human Design is, in human terms
Human Design is a map of how you are built. It takes your exact birth moment and draws a Bodygraph — a picture of where you are consistent and where you are open, how energy moves through you, and how you are designed to make decisions that are right for you.
It gives you a Type (how you are meant to move through the world), a Strategy (how to meet life so it meets you back) and an Authority (where in you the truth of a decision lives — for some it is the gut, for others the heart, for others time).
What makes it different from the personality tests most of us have taken at work: it does not describe how you tend to behave. It describes how you are actually built — the foundation underneath everything you were taught.
Why so many people are looking for this now
For generations we were taught that there is one right way to live. Most of us built our lives on those borrowed rules — and lost sight of ourselves in the process.
A quiet shift is underway. People are no longer asking “How should I live?” They are asking “How am I built to live?” — when choosing a study, when a career stops fitting, in a new relationship, raising a child, after a burnout, at every fresh start.
